RULES AND THINGS TO
- Be on the floor and working at the time you are
scheduled to start. Do not walk in the door at that time or you will be

- Shoes must be comfortable and non-skid.
Hair must be clean and tied back out of your face or you will have to wear hair
nets or hats. No more than 4' hanging loose.
- Your hair should be combed or
braided on your own time, not while you are punched in.
- Perfume or cologne
is not allowed to be worn while you are working.
- If you are changing
clothes before or after your shift: do it on you own time!! not while you are
- We expect you to have a pleasant attitude and a smile on your
face when waiting on all cusomers. If you do not, you will be reminded.

- If you need a day
off, you must as for it at least 2 weeks in advance. There is no guarantee that
you will get this day off just because you asked for it; that is a management
decision. Do not ask for holiday week-ends off!
Everyone who has worked at least one month is responsible for their mistakes. If
you are not able to use them right away, you must buy them. You may either pay ½
price and eat them on break or pay full price and take them home.
- You are
not allowed to wait on family or friends.
- You are not allowed to eat,
except on break. This includes french fries, blizzard toppings, and nuts, etc...
- Any coupons that you take, you must initial and circle the expiration date.
Do not write on gift certificates!
- We do not accept checks!
- You must
weigh all of your treats: THIS MEANS EVERY ONE THAT YOU
- Tables should be checked frequently: after each customer
leaves or at least every 10 minutes.
- Keep cloths rinsed out and put in
places where they are needed.
- Extra toppings for sundaes are: .30¢ oz. (one
full pump or one level ladleful).
- REMEMBER: The
customer is the most important person at the Dairy Queen. If you do not have an
order and a customer comes in the front door or to the drive-through, you are
to stop what you are doing and wait on that customer. DO NOT
WAIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT!!!
